Parent property can be transferred to son's spouse

hai.. my grand father has a house property.now he died.my grand mother(father's mother) is alive.can that house property can be transferred by my grand mother to my mother name.If so pls tell the process of transfer. Note: my grand mother is having one son and daughter.

Note, the children of the deceased (grandfather) will be entitled to share in his ancestral property. If it is his self-acquired property, they are still entitled to share considering he died interstate (i.e. without leaving a will.) Thus, in my opinion, the property cannot be lawfully transferred.

The husband (your father) can dispsoe his share in favor of his wife (your mother) by a valid/registered deed.

Your grandmother can dispose her share in favor of her daughter in law  (your mother) by a valid/registered deed.
