I need one help,
We were having a house in slum in pagdi system, since more then 35 years, we had buy this house from my landlor father and we paid tenant rent for land to landlord for all this year around 100 rupees per month was the last rent, then SRA development happened and since we signed for SRA development, we stopped paying rent, now we got position in SRA building and every thing done, building is under the builder management, and since we signed for this development we got position in around 6 years, now suddenly my land owner calling us and asking for rent for last 6 years, and threatening us in rude way that we will take your SRA house as well, pay rent or we will show you. What should we do, is she really can claim our house or is it ok to pay rent, as per legal law what can happened what should we do.
