Outsourcing job

Good afternoon all , we are the work Inspectors working in Mission Bhagiratha Department of total 662 number's working on Outsourcing basis.we are removed from the services in this carona period which leads to our 662 families will be on road.our services were terminated without any notice.Can we file any case and can our services will extended

1. What is meaning of "working on Outsourcing basis".

2. Does the above mean "Contract /Assignment" basis. IF yes, THEN it is the employers /authorities discretion to terminate /retain /extend the services of its workers.
