Hello!!
My father mde two FDs in Sarawat Bank. Out of two , in one FD he has nominated my son who is a minor , but he has not mentioned Guardian's name. Other FD stands jointly in the name of my parents.Since I am the only child of my parents , still Bank is refusing to transfer both FDs in my name.
Pl advice.

Bank has done the right thing as only the nominee has got the authority to get the benefits of the nominations . As in his case the nominee is the minor the natural guardian will have to apply before the Distrcit Judge for permission to withdraw the amount and to deposit the same in other account in the name of the minor who could withdraw the said amount only after attaning majority.
