NOC from previous advocate

in case of death of proprietor of a company his legal has to get NOC from his previous advocate of deceased or not?

If the legal heirs of the deceased person would like to change advocate and give brief (papers) to new advocate then the legal heirs of deceased person would have to take NOC from the current advocate who handles the case.
