Noc for will probate in the state of gujarat

Hello Everyone

I have question. One of my family member in the state of Gujarat inherited property under the Will of the deceased father. Now in the process of probating the Will and getting NOC from the court, the lawyer is asking me to give no Objection letter notorized here in Canada. I live in Canada.

I do not understand why the lawyer needs my  notorized No Objection letter stating that I have no objection if the property in transferred to the beneficiary of the will. I do not mind giving the NOC but do not understand why he needs it notorized. As far as I know, you do not have to probate will in the state of Gujarat.

Can any lawyer practiicing in the state of Gujarat can help me out on this and email me the NOC form in English if possible.

Thanks for help
