I want to Know about Mutual settlement Procedures So following is My Concern:
My brother Have filed Divorce case against his wife and now both parties want to settle the matter and her wife condition is he want settlement money in way of Cash only and don't want in way of cheque or Demand Draft In this condition My brothers Lawyer Suggest him that we can give cash to her in the presence of Court and cash amount is 8 Lakhs rupees and after getting decree copy Cash will be given to her in court and court will give us Receipt.
So I want to understand Cash also Can be given in court to her wife for settlement?
