mutual consent divorce

my friend name is Ashok.
he married to a women in Jan 2019 now girl don't want to live with him.
MCD filed in Nov. 2019 and 9 lakh DD given to girl.but point is that marriage span is shorter than 1 year. and they have marriage certificate of Jan 2019 marriage.
lawyers said that in MCD it is not a big thing.
please clear my doubt.

one year is cooling period you cannot file case before that

For mutual consent one year is not mandatory so proceed if you file petition today within two hearings one years will be completed.

Just proceed don' worry about the duration as it is mutal consent divorce.
