MUSLIM LAW

 

 

When the Father, Mother, Wife and Children survive the deceased Muslim Subject whether the Father In Law and Mother in Law of that subject can claim any right in the property of the deceased Muslim ?

 

 

 

 

Can they be construed as legal heirs having a share in the property as a matter of right of a deceased intestate Muslim subject ?

No, if deceased Muslim is a male but if she is female then share of father-in-law and mother-in-law remain existing therein as legal heirs.
