We live in a co-operative housing society in Garia, Kolkata. The flat that we live in is registered in my father’s name with my mother as the nominee. We are a joint family and the accomodation is very small for us. We want to procure a flat in the same co-operative society which a member wants to resale. Is it possible to purchase the flat in my mother’s name? If not what is the best sollution. At this moment I am self employed and I will not be able to show any proper income proof, is it possible to purchase the flat in my name under such conditions?
