Matternal grand mother (nani) property's owner

Hi,

i dont have any matternal uncle. after my matternal grand father's death, my matternal grand mother became owner of the property.

my mom's sister's son is claiming his possession in the property. But my mom is the only child left, she spent her entire life to serve and take care of my matternal grand father and mother.

now when my matternal grand mother is also no more, so many people are claiming to be owner of the property like my mom's sister's son, my mom's cousine etc.

my question is who will be the owner of the property after  my matternal grand mother.

my mom or others ?

thanks.

your grandmothers property (assuming she died intestate) will devolve on her children (whoever alive) and  if any of her children are nomore then children of the deceased will get equal shares

It is believed that deceased were Hindu.

Apparently your mother is the only child of her parents and she should be the only living ClassI legal heir and succed to get the entire proeprty.

Was the property of maternal grandfather self acquired or ancestral?

How did the property devolve upon maternal grandmother e.g. thru sale/gift deed,WILL etc?

Thanks Sarvanan sir & Kumar sir.

@Kumar sir,    property of maternal grandfather is ancestral.

after my maternal grandfather death it was shifted to maternal grandmother.

now my mom's cousine and my mom's sister's son are claiming the possession in the property.

can anybody create problem for my mom ?
