Dear Members,
i am fresh law graduate and I have a query please clarify my doubt.
The Magistrate of First Class can impose punishment to the accused upto 3 years as per section 29 of the CRPC, but the same magistrate is empowered to impose 7 years pubishment. . upto 7 yeras the Chief Judicial Magistrate shall try the case as per section 29. what is position of law please clarify !!
