Lost the death certificate

My Grandmother expired in the year 1990 at Jalandhar Punjab when she went to her father place to visit.

We have no contact with any of them neither we knew anyone there. My grandfather and father also died few years ago so we didnt have any clue of where did my grandmother cremation ceremony took place.

I have a death certificate of my grandfather and my father but not of my grandmother. We live in Jharkhand.

Please guide me on this legal matter what can we do legally to declare and prove that she died. Can any affidavit signed by all family members or bond can be sufficient.

Please i need legal advice on it.

First you approach the muncipal authority where your grand mother knwn to have last resided and apply for death certificate, Then they will intimate you about the non registering of death,Obtain the endorsement and apply before Judicial magistrate first class court Civil misc.case. then on enquiry the court will order the muncipalty to register the deathe.Later you can obtain cerficate.
