Dear Sir/Madam,
I purcased a flat in hyderabad 8 months back, registration was done completely by both parties with mutual agreement, and full payment in front of regisration officer and notary.
Now after 8 months, the ex-owner of flat who sold me the flat is asking me to give him the registration link documents copies of mine after transfering the flat on my name to apply for IT Returns proof, but in fact, it's only empty flat land, without any constructed house with any rent, so my flat ex-owner is asking my own document as I become owner of this flat after purchased from him. I scare to give him the copies of my registration documents as he may be trying to make forgery, and cheating me to resell that flat again with the copies of my registration documents. When there is no any rent income from empty flat, why the ex-owner of my flat asking the registration link documents copies, is it no problem to give me? and is it really wanted the ex-owner of my flat as per applicable IT regulations, kind advise me.
