Message : I HAVE A FLAT AT NASHIK ON LEAVE AND LICENCE AGREEMENT WHICH WAS NOT REGISTERED/STAMP DUTY NOT PAID AND HAS EXPIRED. THE OWNER HAS NOT PAID COMPENSATION SINCE 6 MONTHS BARRING A SMALL AMOUNT 15 DAYS BACK. HOW CAN I EVICT HIM.WHAT SHOULD BE THE COURSE OF ACTION. PLEASE ENLIGHTEN |

Was it done to save on stamp duty and regn charges? You are supposed to inform the local police also about keeping a tenant giving his particulars.
Now you have no record. Is he willing to enter into a L&L agreement even now? If not you are in big trouble. Consult a lawyer immediately. He has been living in your flat with your consent for the last six months and you can't call him a trespasser.
