Laar act - can compensate the full amount (in stamp paper)

Hi,

My land is near to railway track. suppose government acquired my land for train extension.

can i get the same amount on my stamp paper?

example i bought the land for 15 lakhs. can i get the same amount? because it is getting from the bank loan.

Please advice.

Yes and u may get excess amount as compensation as in sale deed.

You will get the assesed market value of the land, and you will get also solatium; however if your land is valued at the lesser price than the price at which you purchased as manifested by sale deed ,you can file an application before the collector (land Acquistion Officer) and refuse to accept the lower price and object the award of Collector . The collector will refer the matter to court and you can claim the actual  price and also the court can allow interest as per land Acquistion Act
