I would like to know that according to the news of the hour that Anna Hazare has been put under judicial custody -what is the maximum term / days for which he can kept under JC?
Would it be different if any body from police or public would have complained of attack / assult from supporters of hazare? if it would have been other way round?
Why was he and team not kept under house arrest instead of JC? What does this implied?

Anna hazara was arrested u/s 107/151 of CR.P.C.It Means poloce has power to maintain the public tranquility and he has the power in case of any person try to breach the public tranquility then police has power to seek the security for keeping the peace and u/s 151 arrest fo a person to prevent the commission of cognnizable offence.
