Joint property liability

Hello All,

I had lent money to my friend and he is absconding since last five years. I had filed a case against him and he did not turn up. Finally I had made a decision to file an EP and am willing to request honorable court to attach the undivided ancestral property in the name of his father.

Can you please help me by suggesting the possibilities in attaching the property and also few case laws pertaining to such case. Please help me out in coming out of this problem.
