Govt of India is spending a fortune to make the consumer aware that they have a right to complaint if a packaged product is sold at a higher rate than that of MRP printed . And it also informs that it is the manufacturer which decides on the MRP , the govt has role in it. It is otherway round. Govt of the day collect taxes against MRPs and hence not bothered about the retail buyers.
Secondly as i understand the manufacturers are required to print cost of the product prominently along side the MRPs which is not done . Jago Grahak Jago is totally blind to this crucial issue as it enable the consumers to act more judiciously while buying a product or a similar product.
How do I complain against the govt of India deptt of consumer affairs for not highlighting this crucial aspect in their JAGO GRAHAK JAGO campaign?
