Recently, cases under Section 498 A were reserved only for the mahila police station in Ahmedabad. But soon, it was issued that registration of FIR under this section will be done at the police stations concerned and the follow-up investigation will be conducted by the personnel of mahila police station only. As a result of this lopsided arrangement, women are not getting justice, believe activists.
