Sir,
I live in an apartment in chennai. The apartments has ground,1st ,2nd and terrace. There are houses in the first floor also. My house is at 1st floor of the apartment. The person at ground floor directly below our apartment is annoying us for some small things which could have been sorted out by adjustments within us. He always tells us not to do certain things because it is affecting him.
For ex: We always dry our washed clothes in the balcony. whenever we dry any lengthy clothes like bed sheets, saris, dhothies he asks us to take it or fold it and dry as it is affecting the light coming to his room through the window.
We park our vehicles in the space in the ground floor. Whenever we take our vehicle he asks us to take the vehicle outside of the gate and start as the smoke emitted by vehicle is coming to his room.
Frequently asks us to reduce the tv volume.
The most annoying thing was whenever the kids at my home jumps.. he comes immediately and asks not to jump as the noise is heard below.
I heard that there are certain laws which says that when owner of another house in an apartment objects something then we should avoid doing it.
i don't know how to deal with this guy since i'm not sure if he says that it is written in law and i should avoid doing if he objects.
