the employer is required to pay to the esi the mandatory contribution in respect of each employee on their rolls so as to provide the facilities of medical and insurance cover to them and their familities. this scheme is a part of the social objective in respect of all employees in respect of organised and unorganised sector.

ESI plays a very important role in the employee life. It is cover only the employee who earning below 15,000 per month. For payment of ESI the employer will dedut some amount in the salary of the employee and pay to the ESI office in the name of the particular employee. if any accident will happen during the course of employment means we get free treatment in the ESI Hospital. In case the employee dies during the course of employment means the ESI will pay the monthly pension to his family/ dependent (If he is a member of ESI).

ESI is mandatory for public sector as well as private sector also. The law is very strict against non registration of employee  by the employer.

ESIC is the Social welfare measure taken by the government to asure certainbenefits to the working class and their families..... so when it is social security benefit obviously it has to bemader mandatory right?? So we need not emphasise more on it......
