Hra

I am regular central govt employee sharing govt residence with colleague who is contractual employee at same post. Residence is in his name only.Am I entitled to get HRA? Admin says being owner your colleague has to pay and you won't get HRA as well?

It is not clear how the Govt. residence is in the name of a Contractual employee?

In any case, if you have shown your address as the Govt. residence, then you will not get any HRA.

I have not shown this address anywhere except online shopping sir. I waas alloted separate residdance initially then i left it for sharing. Now admin says you won't get HRA and i'll allocate residance in the name of your in backdate. Is it legal to do so?
