How to recover transferred amount from bank account

Our friend accidentally transferred an amount to the bank account of proprietor instead of the bank account of a similar named entity which is a partnership firm. How do we proceed to recover the amount from proprietor or the partnership firm. please advise the action to be taken

First u go and request him to return the accedentally transferred money with the help of bank manager if he refuse s issue legal notice and suit for recovery in competent civil court engaging advocate.
