fraudulent fir

i am an engineering student. i have recently cleared ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAMINATION conducted by UPSC. my joining will be most probably in dec 2015. recently in a matrimonial dispute which involves my father's distant relative(maternal side),a FIR has been lodged in which i have also been named. i do not even know the girl or any member of the girl's maternal family neither she or they know me. i even have not been in touch with the boy's family. though my father is in touch with them, he has been neutral on this issue. the girl's cousin lives in my neighborhood and most probably on his suggestion they have lodged a FIR against me to put pressure on the boy's family and my father putting my career and future at risk. i have been living for the last 5-6 years away from the town for studies and have never visited any of the concerned parties. i am really in despair as this FIR might cause some problem during police verification. what should i do ? please advise me sir. thank you.
