Co. employee as lawyer

If an individual has a LLB degree and working for a Public Ltd company as a Company Secretary, can this individual fight a criminal case in Civil Court or Consumer Forum on behalf of his colleagues? The case doesn't relate to the Company. This has to be done in personal capacity.

Please calrify.

criminal case is tried in criminal court n not in civil court .

as a CS u cannot fight a case in criminal court or in civil court .EVEN U R LLB U R NOT LAWYER.

but in consumer foram , in ur capacity as consumer u can fight a case .

Dear Friend To appear in the Court you need to take "SANAD" Registration or license to practice. You have to register your self with some High Court as a member of bar. Then you can appear and practice. Regards VIRAJ KADAM Advocate, Supreme Court of India
