i am presently based in dubai. i have been staying in the same apartment from past 2 years, and tenancy contract was renenwed for 3rd year on 15th april 2013. during tenancy contract, we have to give security of 3 post dated cheques. if the cheque is bounced due to the lack of amount in account, and if the account holder is not in Middle east what procedding can be taken.
i am aware that it is a criminal issue, and secondly the landlord or the real estate agents can file a criminal case at lo cal police and at immigration .
but i want to know the what actions can be taken on the bilateral understanding between the two countries.
