Certainly indian courts have jurisdiction to try your case as a cyber offence and now the cyber legal system in India has considerably developed well and as the emails have been received in india certainly a complaint can be filed in India.  There is no doubt about that.  Even if no senders address is there the IP address of the email and other latest technology can enable the cyber specialists to find out where the email actually originated and it is easy to track the accused.  In fact special cyber cell and cyber technology & law trained police personal are functioning in every metros of the country.  But the legal process will be cumbersome as the accused is in abroad it may take considerable time. 

I think I was misunderstood on the mail part. It was not sent through email but postal mail which has DVD in the package. This type of package were sent out to couple of relatives. But we are not sure yet how many else have received it. Package has only To address. Doesn't have sender's address. There is USA postal stamp to prove where it was mailed out from but nothing else.
