My husband filed a divorce case in family court Pune. I submited an application for interim alimony as per my lawyers advice. The application for interim alimony was filed in July 2015. The court sanctioned / orderd interrim alimony in Jan.-2016.
So I want to ask that will I get sanctioned amount from the date of application (July 2015) for interim alimony or from the date of courts order.( Jan. 2016)

Depends on the prayers in the Interim Maintenance Application and the content of the Order. If there is nothing specific in the prayer paragraphs or in the Order, then it should be assumed to be from the date of the application. Good Judges clarify all ambiguities in the Order itself.
