I' am living in an apartment of in bangalore.
There is no association formed yet and pending activities promised by builder are not done yet.
These are the main issues we are facing in forming an association:
1) The builder wants to be the president of the apartment owner's association. This is a non-negotiable ask from builder, and decline to co-operate in any way in forming an association without being as president of the apartment owner's association.
2) There has been a lengthy list of pending activities to be done which are not completed by the builder yet.
3) There is no khata transfer done or any of the handover check list items are not cleared and we have no clue of when or how this can be done.
4) The builder has no interest in running the finances of the association , so agreed that few of actual residing owners can take control of the accounting part for maintenance.
Can you kindly guide us what could be the consequences of going ahead in to this arrangement of having builder as the president of the apartment owner's association ?
How can we get khata transfer done? and all pending activities to get done by builder.
We are all experiencing lot of chaos and do not have any clear understanding of where we are heading with.
It would be of great help if any body could guide us how we should approach this situation.
