For criminal lawyers- using artificial intelligence in criminal procedure

Given the widespread use of AI, I wondered if anyone had thoughts on what aspects of criminal procedure they think AI can automate. It could be across any stakeholders- police, judges, lawyers, forensic analysts,etc- or processes- investigation, bail, charge, examinations, judgements,etc? 

This is only a discussion post viewed from an academic perspective.
