Ex Servicemen Status

I have completed 7 years of service in IAF. After obtaining due permission from the service, I have applied for CAPF (AC) exam 2017. Now if I get discharge from the Air Force on being selected to civil post, will I get an ex servicemen status??

4.	The eligibility of the person to the status of ex-Servicemen will be governed by the definition in vogue at the time of his discharge and will not be affected by the changes in the definition subsequent to his discharge.
