Eviction

Hi,

My name is Ravi I have a property in India which is occupied and I want to evict. The propery is around about 2000 Sft and the occupied portion is app. 600 Sft. I contacted an lawyer he is saying the stamp paper for the occupied portion will be around 20,000 Rupees and 40,000 his fee to file an eviction suit in the court. I would appreciate if you can advise me is it going to cost so much to get my own property.

thanks

Ravi

Where is the property situated? The fees depends upon the standing of the lawyer at the bar.

Dear Mr.Singh,

Yes, with the flaws in the legal system getting your own property is a big pain. The fees as Ld.Ashish Jee said depends on the calibre of the lawyer, but trust me with a system grossly skewed in favour of wrong doers and which places a premium on usurping the property - a good lawyer is your only chance to get your property speedily.
