Error in surname

I have registered sales deed , which contains error in property details so I made new rectification deed , at the time of appointment while taking for rectification deed one word is missing in my surname , due to which online page of rectification deed contains one word missing in surname, but my index 2 of rectification deed and original sales deed is correct.

Do I need to make a new rectification deed or can attached affidavit of my correct surname in rectification deed , which do not creat any issue in future.

Please suggest.

Correcting Errors in Property Documents To address the error in your surname on the rectification deed, consider the following options:

Option 1: Create a New Rectification Deed - *Pros*: Ensures accuracy and clarity in property documents. - *Cons*: May involve additional costs and time.

Option 2: Attach an Affidavit - *Pros*: Provides a clear explanation of the error and correction. - *Cons*: May not be accepted by all authorities or institutions.

Considerations - *Index 2 and Original Sales Deed*: Since these documents have the correct surname, the error may be limited to the online rectification deed. -

*Future Implications*: An affidavit can help clarify the error, but it's essential to ensure it will be accepted by relevant authorities. Recommendations -

*Consult a Lawyer*: Seek professional advice to determine the best course of action.

- *Verify Requirements*: Check with relevant authorities to confirm the acceptability of an affidavit. -

*Prioritize Accuracy*: Ensure all property documents are accurate and up-to-date

It is better to get a new rectification deed.

you may have to get a new rectification deed executged to rectify the error in the latest rectification deed unless this error will be apparent and may create legal issue at a later stage in future.

Such discrepencies are quite common and hence, in my considered opinion, could be ignored.

Execute a fresh rectification deed.
