As far as I know, no amendments have been made. But thorough consideration is being done by National Commission for Women and the concerned Ministry, more particularly about the language used in the Act, as the drafting has been severely criticised by the hon'ble Supreme Court in Tarun Batra's case. If I am wrong, other experts may kindly correct.

Yes , that apart some high court have barred the petitioner from making women implicated in the proceeding under DV Act.
