Does upsc checks petty case history

I was subjected to a petty case for smoking in public. The police men said I have to Pay fine amount at court. So does this affect my chances for appering Civil service examination by UPSC? The policemen said me to sign a white sheet containing my name and address and said me to reach court for paying fine. I am very much worried about that. Anyone please help.

No,Criminal offence which comes under IPC does come under police records not these cases.

I will disagree with mr Nilesh.  It is not IPC crimes even other crimes also which are of criminal nature.

UPSC is only ckecing the previous applications before UPSC.

as far ss antecedents vertification is concerned, UPSC is not doing any such checking they have no time they are selecting the candidates and asking the deptt to check their suitablility  and eligibility before issue of offer of appointment.  In this process you have to fill 5 paged form in which you have to state all information regarding arrest/detention/bail/bounding/conviction/university punishments etc.

this form goes to each police station where you hve resideded for the last five years.

But these type of petty fines do not come under defination of offences,There is no arrest, detention, complaint, trial etc. This is simple fine and police check only criminal records.

Does there will be any records of me at police station about paying fine for such a petty case?
