I am recruitment consultant in mumbai since couple of months, Today I am one man team and plannig to aquire small office and to hire more ppl to help me in my business.I have not register my company name or hold any licence since its my newly started venture. I want to know is there need to take permission or registration, sales tax number/tan?
Kindly guide me?

I guess you have to, most states charge sales tax on goods sold within their state.

You have not mentioned what business you would do and to what level you want to take it. In such case it will not be appropriate advice can be given. In any case Sales Tax registration would be necessary if you would engage in selling goods.
