Division of property between brothers

What option one have if primary owner of property is one person and another (2nd person) is mentioned as shareholder on property? Can shareholders gets equal share? Both person in this case are brother and property was purchase by their father. Need expert advise what option 2nd person have to get equal share on the property? Thanks in advance

Both have equal right unless anything is mentioned in sale deed about the percentage of share.

Thank you Deepak Sir. One more related query... if father has purchased property and it was just registered in the name of elder bro, can younger bro/sis can get any share of his (elder bro) named property?
