How much claim as maintenence

My wife stayed with me for 4 months after marriage. She is 24 years old. BA graduate and topper of her university. My question is if she files a divorce case along with maintenence, how much from my salary can the supreme court order to give her. My gross salary is around one lakh. After tax deduction, it comes around 80 thousand.

u can say that Ur father and mother and if any brother or sisters r studying r unemployed there they r all Ur dependents.and so to reduce it for 1/6thor1/5th.

Hi Shashi,

Thanks a lot for your kind reply. Also, can a woman with masters degree in ARTS claim maintenence . She has scope for working but is not willing to work.
