What is the remedy in Law of Torts for Defamation of a particular community for e.g. defamation of Doctors , Lawyers or defamation of any religious community?
Can a Individual can file a suit under IPC for defamation for this or there must be group of persons or any organization representing such community is only eligible for filing a suit of defamation?

It can very much be filed by a single person belonging to the same community,. The quantum of damages /compensation shall vary.
