Deceased daughters right on deceased fathers property

Hi,

I would like to konw as a grand son, what is my right on the ancesteral property of my grandfather. My grandfather had 3 daughters and 1 son, out of which my mother and and one more aunt has passed away. My grandfather and my grandmother both passed away in before  yr 2000, my mother was born in 1949 and passed away in 2001. Currently My uncle is living in that property and so far no agreement is reached on sharing. Is there a law which says if my mother was born before 1956 i cannot claim a right and if my grandparents and my mother died before 2005 does the new ammendment does not apply in my case. What rights do i have in the current scenario and is there any way i can send notice to my uncle not to take any decision without my consent on that property and can i force him to sell the property to stake my claim.
