deal cancelled , refund stuck

Hello all, I had resale deal with person for his apartment. That deal involve builder also. Now problem is that I had gave 500k as part 20% amount what I have to give to him. Now these due to my insufficient fund is cancelled. Now that owner saying that he already spend that money where want. Now he has no money ....and saying that I will give you money after this apartment sold . And also asking panulties for my delay in money funding. Now I want my money back as all transjuction is white so how anybody will not return my money. Please help how to takkel this situation. Is possible to notice thrgh court or I involved police in this by filling FIR. Tomorrow I m meeting him please tell me what is legal to get my money back Please help me to get my money back Milind pawar
