Cross examination - reading out questions?

Is it okay to ask questions by reading it out from a paper? 

Lets say I am in Court, I don't want to forget to ask anything or stammer due to nervousness, can I then ask the question by reading it out?

Yes it is absolutely okay to ask questions by reading it out paper .No restrctions.usually lawyers ask questions by reading out ther file.

For sure you can do it. There are no legal restrictions.
