credit card

If a person is a user of credit card of a bank, and all of sudden he dies, and he used the credit card amount in lakhs, then in such circumstances, will his legal heirs are liable to pay the debt of a bank or not?

The legal heirs are liable to the extent they had inherited property from the deceased credit card holder.
