Dear Shilpi,
Production of accused is either from police custody or judicial custody. for judicial custody magistrate issues production warrants to prison authorities.
Commitment means committing the case to session court after handing over of complete set of charge sheet under section 173 Cr.p.c to accused persons in case where trial is by session judge only.
