Income Tax

I know a person who has not paid any Income Tax or would have paid very neggligible amount , but he acquired recently a dwelling land and constructed a house for about 3.5 to 4 Crores and he has got more than 30 crores . How the IT authorities keeping quiet? whereas we the employees are taken to task by the IT.

Be a good samartian and inform the Income tax department with exact details you have about this person. You will earn reward if the allegations made by you are correct and department collects tax from this person. You can write to the Director General of Income Tax Investigation of the state where the tax evader stays. Alternatively you can personally meet officers of investigation wing of IT department and be a informer.
