For repairing of compound wall we got lowest quotaion of Rs.16000.00. It is required to call General Body Meeting to approve the same or can Managing comitee finalise the same?

As per bye-laws of the society, Managing Committee has powers to make expenditure upto a certain sum. If it is fitting within that, MC can take decision.

there is no bye law for the limits for doing exps in our society. we are following model by-laws of MCS 1960.

I have checked bye law no : 158 (a)
Limits for expenses can be done by MC : for us i.e 51 + member upto Rs. 1,00,000.00
i.e the expenses of Rs. 16000.00 are as per 158(a).
Member Strength 9,49,524 and growing..
