get a lawyer for DV

should my cousin get a lawyer for filing DV is there any form avaliable.

how much does a lawyer charge?

will there be hearings?

if so how often?

If you go through the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and Domestic Violence Rules you will know the procedure. 

However in order to avoid complecations it is always preferable to assign your case to any practicing advocate. 

There can not be any specific fees. As it will depend upon the nature of work. 

There will be hearings. But frequency thereof would depend upon the service of notice and the stages for hearing and pendency of the matters before the Court in which the proceeding is filed.

well suggessted by Mr. AMIT. As per as fee is concerned, it differs from lawyer to lawyer.

in written it should be over within 6 months but in practical there is no such type of practice.
