Consent decree on a property due to incomplete facts

Had partly invested in a land in 2007 & the seller was actually not a bonafide owner of the same as the land was an agricultural land barred by Sec 43..These facts were hidden by the seller

A civil suit was filed claiming for the property possession alongwith a clear title requirement or money back with 20% interest...

Due to finance issues we were forced to settle matter in Lok Adalat in 2011 as a compromise decree...After we executed the decree, we came to know a few months later that the person was not a bonafide seller according to the "Lands Act" & he still did not have clear title yet.

What actions can I take both under Civil Law & under Criminal Law.
