Compensation not given

sir/madam

In 1987 my father joined nwr railway as aprentis mechanic.during his tenure he was sent to bombay for training purpose.during his training he got accident and expired when he was coming from workshop.His total tenure in railway was 1year and 17 days.After some time we contacted to railway but they forbidded to give any compensation.At that time there was nobody in my family to fight and get compensation.now in 2008 we asked some document from railway department under rti but did not get any reply from them.

sir now let me know plz that is there any way to get the compensation?

unfortunately time barred case. You do not even know whether his service was regular of ad-hoc.

sir,I know a lot time has been lapsed but can we denied to give our right because a lot time has been passed.at that time we contacted also to the department but they denied and my mother was a single woman so she could not gather as much courage file a court case.Another thing his service was regular even he filled a bond of seven years.can these facts help to fight and win the case

sir,actually I don't know what is a compensation be given to a govt employees's family who dies during his service duration but I know it is not a 17days salary.

You said that your mother was not entertained. It is hard to believe that any widow in any Govt organisation is not entertained for pension / DCRG unles the employee was not eligible for the same.

without facts you cannot be advised.

Even if advised at this stage you will just waste money on stationary, typing, postage etc.
